The bitFlowers 2020/21 Roadmap

Now that the Crypto-city team has successfully rebranded the former Ciredo project into bitFlowers, the path ahead is clear! And rather than over complicating the development process, we’re going to try and make things nice and simple:

Q4 2020

The team will continue to iron out any remaining Ciredo artifacts, including: updating indexes, updating exchanges, updating social media channels, and removing the previous github repository (once wallet v.1 is complete). This will be the main objective, whilst the wallet team reconstruct and finalize the initial wallet iteration with the modified PoS rewards.

Q1 2021

Once the initial wallet is released, the team will focus on research and marketing.

What research?

The wallet, once the eGift function has been integrated into the wallet software, will have an eGift library that is tiered. For example, a rose will be more expensive to send than a sunflower. But why? Well, that’s because they are more popular to send than sunflowers, and, as a result, more expensive. Other factors may also need to be considered, like the manufacturing difficulty, etc, to conclude with a relative pricing structure.

Conversely, flower pricing around the world is not ubiquitous! White roses in the West represent innocence, whilst in the East they represent death. As a result, their use and price are different, so this complicates the wallet tier system. The team has decided to roll out varying demographic catalogs of eGifts, so that the function is more inclusive to a global market.

Furthermore, continued research will take place, to ensure that the theme of attributing ID tags to the chain is the most efficient route to deliver the eGift system.

Marketing

The obvious start to this has been the acquirement and construction of www.bit-flowers.com, which will remain a work in progress over the coming weeks. However, looking into the short-term future, the team will begin to involve outside communities into the project for software testing, eGift product evaluation, and a real world perspective on “floriculture on the chain.”

The team has recently acquired a comprehensive crypto bot for the Telegram and Discord social media channels, which will enable a suitable outlet for coin distribution: there will be airdrops, competitions, giveaways, rains, chance to rank up in a role [to obtain a higher % of daily rain], the ability to swap one coin (Doge : PETAL, etc) to another, and also to even gamble! To parallel this, there will be bitFlower coin giveaways via the Twitter page, which will occur many times per week.

Q2 2021

Once the wallet software reaches completion, the team will work toward testing it on many system, so ensure that the eGift database load will work as intended on a multitude of systems. Again, this is where the team will employ the efforts of third parties to offer their systems and perspective.

Furthermore, as this point the front end developers of the team will put their attention to the creation of the the eGift graphic libraries. Input could also be included as commissioned work, but the idea so far is leave enough room for the community to have an input, so that — in the long run — even the eGift content will be a consequence of community efforts.

Q3

We’ve determined that it will take approx. this length of time to factor in all the research and development to complete the final wallet with the eGift integration. It may be ready sooner or later, but we’ve allowed enough of a margin, so that the team will hopefully deliver in advance!

Once it’s completed and out in the public domain, the team will steer their energy toward continued marketing and exchange listing acquisition! Most important ly— especially for myself — i’ll no longer need to buy last minute birthday cards or gifts from the store; i’ll be sending them on the blockchain!
